After months of careful development Steve Helstrip is ready to drop a new Podcast proposition into the laps of trance loving masses everywhere! Presented monthly, The Thrillseekers NightMusic Podcast will hold a mirror up to the ever-evolving world of cutting edge dance music.... September 1st 2008 is launch day and the show is available via The website. Just hit the 'DJ' tab above and click on 'NightMusic Podcast' to download. Steve Hits Denver, the O.C. & San Fran!

Early 2008 sees The Thrillseekers back Stateside� with avengeance! Last Saturday Steve whipped up a storm at the Vinyl Nightclub in the very snowy confines of Denver, Colorado. And then in two weeks time he�s heading back over to do it all again, though this time in the more clement setting of California! The O.C. - the one and only Orange County - will feel that trance force on Feb 15th as The Thrillseekers play Club Vegas in the teen emotion capital of America! From there, it�s up to spin at the Love 08 festival on the 16th, alongside Andy Moor and Kyau & Albert in the trance arena.

Thrillseekers In India!

Right! Start of the year then, so start as we mean to go on� And that means completely clich�-free news stories. Wahay!India: land of cricket, elephants, super-charged curries, belly dancing, bhangra & Bollywood, and a noticeable lack of Jade Goody fan clubs (heh� Google it!). A land of firsts (and thirsts) and here comes another: The Thrillseekers spinning on the sub-continent! Yes, indeed, Steve plays his first ever gig in India this Friday (the 18th) at Elevate in Delhi. So if you happen to be reading this in an internet caf� in Goa, get yourself on a plane and get over there. It won�t be one to miss!

The Thrillseekers This Christmas & NYE

The Thrillseekers will be on active deck service over the festive period. Steve is in Indonesia on the 22nd of December at Blowfish in Jakarta, before racing home in time for Christmas Eve and his regulation intake of 20 mince pies (Doctor's orders apparently!). New Years Eve finds him back over the other side of the pond � taking over the controls at Sky in Austin, Texas, for what promises to be a big, BIG night.

If you�re somewhere on the West Coast of America this weekend you�re A: very lucky, B: probably enjoying better weather than a large proportion of the planet and C: (saving the best till last!) in with a shot of seeing The Thrillseekers this weekend! 1015 in San Francisco is once again playing host to our trance artisan on Saturday night and Steve will be ensuring maximum deck-wreckage (the good kind!) in downtown Fulsom. Get yourself over there to see Taj and Co and don�t forget to throw a shape on the floor for us poor sods left home under the cosh of the English weather. Grrrr, and indeed Brrrr!

The �Night Music� Vaccine Special!

This Friday, 14th September, Vaccine at Turnmills will play host to a special NM2 experience. Steve will be taking over the Vaccine controls for a 3 hour journey, deep into the multi-genre sound of Night Music. Israel�s Hydroid will be making his UK debut, warming up for The Thrillseekers and extra support comes in the form of The Viceroy, Perceptive Nature and Rob Deacon. Back To Where It Began...

Just 3 months after he kicked off the �Night Music 2� tour there, Steve returns to RED in L.A. this weekend. Now moved to its new home at Circus, another three hours of the best trance will be duly served up to the floor-hungry RED faithful! Keep an eye out too for Steve�s �Breakthrough DJ of 2007�, Kevin S. warming them up! From there it�s another return visit, this time to The Warehouse in Calgary on Saturday. where Steve will be spinning and signing the night away!

Steve's Way Out East!

This weekend The Thrillseekers are way out east� the Far East to be precise. Tonight Steve brings the NM2 flavour to the land where a Starbucks will cost you twice the price of a copy of Microsoft Office! That�s Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur to you and me. From there it�s a 200 mile ride over the South China Sea to for Friday night in Jakarta, Indonesia. Its 94% humidity over there at the moment so fingers crossed his aircon�s working!

The original, Terry Ferminal and Breakfast mixes are all available in their official 320kbps glory, direct from The Thrillseekers website NOW! No Silverstone For Steve!

It�s the British Grand Prix this weekend, but The Thrillseekers won�t be pit-side, cheering Hamilton, this year. Instead Steve is Argentina-bound and driving into weekend 6 of the �Night Music 2� tour. The Paradise Garage in downtown Buenos Aires will be playing host to The Thrillseekers floor-rocking sound; if you happen to be in Argentina, this weekend be SURE to check it out! Congratulations (and profuse thanks!) by the way to Toby Andrews of Norwich, who picks up the �Night Music 2� package we offered yesterday AM. His information in helping us locate our errant Thrillseeker on Ibiza, (after another bench-mark raising performance at Eden), was invaluable! Much appreciated Mr Andrews (and additional kudos points for pulling him off those rocks before he was washed out to sea)!

Steve Helstrip: MISSING in Ibiza.

Exactly 365 days after making his debut on the great White Island, The Thrillseekers returned last night to once again tear the roof off of Eden�s Gatecrasher night. However, we�ve been alerted this morning that Steve seems to have gone missing. A well-known �party-enthusiast�, his post-Eden exploits last year were well documented in areas of the dance press. Suffice to say we�re worried that he may have gone and done it all over again. 'Waiting' Goes Through The Roof!

'Waiting Here for You� is continuing to devastate the world�s airwaves and dance floors. Last week Pete Tong added his support, playing it on his �In New Music We Trust� show, while Dave Pearce kept up the pressure on Dance Anthems. It was the Web Vote Winner on Above & Beyond�s T.A.T.W. show and this week also saw Armin feature the red-hot Breakfast mix on his ASOT. Last but by no means least, Markus Shultz made it his Global Selection on Global DJ Broadcast.

Currently in just a small number of DJs hands, the new Thrillseekers single has already had a big, BIG reaction! Both Above & Beyond and Armin van Buuren opened their respective radio shows with 'Waiting Here for You� this week, while A&B have also made it �Single of the Week�. The first remix will come from fast rising U.S. star Breakfast and there�ll be a host of other revamps to follow. Check back for details...

New Thrillseekers Single Imminent...

Those eagerly awaiting the new Thrillseekers single, 'waiting' time is almost over! The single is confirmed as the lead track on the 'Plus 365' disc of 'Night Music 2' and will be released in July. What else can we tell you at then? Well, it features U.S. songstress Aruna on vocals and insiders say that after the deeper feel of 'By Your Side', it�s a return to the ultra-melodic, classic Thrillseekers sound. Oh, and Above & Beyond will be giving it its world premiere on Trance Around The World this Tuesday (15/05/07)!

�Night Music 2� warm-up gigs.

The Thrillseekers begin a month of �Night Music 2� warm-up gigs tomorrow at United as One @ The Cablefactory in Helsinki, Finland. Steve is on crowd-rocking duties from 11.00 � 1.00, and with Matt Hardwick and the mighty Solarstone also on the bill, it promises to be quite a night.

�Night Music� just wouldn�t be �Night Music� without the �Night Music� tour and today we�re releasing first details of the countries Steve will be touching down in. The tour� launches with a special party at San Francisco�s 1015 and then it is on through Turkey, Estonia, Spain, Argentina, El Salvador, back to the States and then finishing with a big bang at The Gallery. 'Night Music 2' is Coming...

We�re delighted to announce that June 11th 2007 will see The Thrillseekers release the follow up to the acclaimed debut compilation �Night Music�, Over two discs and mixes, �Vol 2� will once again digitally capture the pure fission of Thrillseekers in the mix. Disc One will casts the farthest reaching view possible into new dance music. The mix will be diverse, imaginative and will be packed with upfront exclusives! �Minus Three Six Five� reverses the direction and looks back at the anthems that have dominated �Seekers� sets over the last year. The disc ultimately will become the �yearbook� of the music that�s come to encapsulate Steve�s unique, floor-rocking sound.

Ever wondered which bit of hardware produced the 'Synaesthesia sound', Steve will tell you! Curious which Thrillseekers remix is his favourite? Now's the time to ask... Spotted him face down in a puddle of Pernod in Ibiza and wondered who stopped him from drowning? He might possibly have the answer! The Return of 'Smack My Bitch Up'

If you've been to a Thrillseekers gig recently you might well have heard the familiar strains of The Prodigy's mosh-anthem 'Smack My Bitch Up'. But just not quite the way you remember it? If so, you were more than likely listening to The Thrillseekers very own grinding elec-trance remake. Steve's been test-driving it to great reactions since October 2006 and he's now passed out a handful to the DJ glitteratti, so expect to be hearing it a lot more!

New A&R man for Adjusted Music.

As part of its 2007 expansion, The Thrillseekers Adjusted Music has appointed Jay Parry-Jones to the role of A&R manager. Jay, who is based in York, will be seeking new music from across the trance/progressive spectrum. Whether it�s deep, tech, melodic, euphoric or prog trance, as long as it rocks, he wants to hear it! From Canada to the Windy City.

If you�re lucky enough to be in either Calgary or Chicago this weekend, The Thrillseekers are rocking a club near you! Friday the 16th sees Steve at The Warehouse in downtown Calgary alongside Rodi Style and Horizon residents Domenic G, Special Agent & Tyler C. Then it�s on to PureFuture @ Vision in Chicago on the 17th to wrap up the weekend�s floor activities!

Steve has just finished recording the first Thrillseekers radio mix of 2007. The set goes out on Markus Schulz�s Global DJ Broadcast show this coming Thursday.Be sure to tune in and catch the mix on DI:FM, February 1st, between 18:00 and 20:00 CET (GMT +1).

The run up to 2007 was an incredible experience for me, culminating in 2 spectacular gigs: Spundae in Los Angeles on the 30th, and 1015 in San Fransisco on New Year's Eve itself. Thrillseekers Christmas Dates

If you're in need of some Thrills this Christmas, you can catch Steve ripping up the roof tiles in Qatar for Global DJs on the 21st, before returning to the UK for some Gatecrasher action in Nottingham and Newport on Boxing Night. Then Steve�s off to L.A.�s legendary Spundae on the 30th and 2006 culminates at the awesome 1015 in San Fran, for New Years Eve. Hope to see you out there, somewhere!

Thrillseekers Comp Winners Hit Leeds.

Saturday night saw the winners of The Thrillseekers memorabilia competition gather for a VIP night at Gatecrasher in Leeds. Steve spun a roof raising club classics set to the sell out crowd, before meeting the victors! Our lucky winners were Nick Smith from Tamworth who went home with Steve�s vinyl-stuffed record bag and Gary Walgate from Acomb who won the original �Synaesthesia� acetate.

DJ Mag Top 100 Results

4pm, Wednesday 25th October and The Thrillseekers scramble down to the station and jump the train to London! The event: DJ Magazine�s Top 100 DJs poll party at the legendry Fabric club. One somewhat tense (all right nerve-shredding) countdown later and Steve was quite literally �thrilled� to find out he had cracked the top 50 for the first time, coming in at number 45.The last 12 months have seen a marathon trail of globe-trotting, continent-hopping and roof-raisin� sets from The Thrillseekers. The remainder of 2006 and the start of 2007 will see Steve, in his own words, �returning the balance� to the production /DJ�ing scales. He will be largely in the studio throughout November, working on further material for his forthcoming debut album. We would like to thank everybody who supported Steve in this poll. THANKS!!!

This Weekend Coming...

Looking forward to next weekend and Steve will be making his debut in the Slovakian capital Bratislava at the Comuniquetion night @ the Unique Club (www.unique.sk). DJ Magazine Top 100 News

Wednesday the 20th September and Thrillseekers HQ gets the phone call we�ve been hoping for! Thanks to all you lot - each and every one of yers! - The Thrillseekers are back in DJ Magazine all-seeing, all knowing Top 100 chart. So, we�d like to say a great big �THANK YOU� to everyone who took the time to �Vote Thrillseekers�. No word on where Steve has come in the chart yet, but all will be revealed next Wednesday night (the 25th) at London�s Fabric Club.

Illness....

Steve would like to apologise to all fans that turned up expecting to see him at Electronic Sessions in London, last Saturday night. Regretably he was at home recovering from a nasty bout of tonsillitis. Steve�s performance has been re-scheduled for early 2007 and he hopes that you can all join him then!

'Open Our Eyes' gets Sean Tyas Rework

Insigma 'Open Our Eyes' (Steve Helstrip and Andy Perring�s soulful trance odyssey), has been given a new lease of life this month, courtesy of Sean Tyas.Sean has created a huge piano-led rework of the track which is already being smashed by Armin, Above & Beyond and Matt Hardwick, and was used by Ferry to close up his Essential Mix from Global Gathering , live on Radio 1 this Saturday. The remixes are out through Beatport, Audiojelly and other good download retailers on the 10th August.
